The Plaza 10K is part of the Heartland 30K Series.
Take on the challenge of completing three 10k's this fall. The Heartland 30k Series starts on September 13th at the Plaza 10K on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, continues with the WoodsStock 10k on September 20th at Corporate Woods in Overland Park, and finishes with the Oktoberfest 10k on October 4th in Martin City.
Finishers in the series will receive a series finisher medal and a Heartland 30k series event shirt.

Looking for a shorter distance? The 2-Mile Family Fun Run & Walk welcomes participants of all ages and abilities, making it a great way for families and friends to experience race day together.
Proceeds from the Plaza 10K and 2-Mile Family Fun Run & Walk benefit Saint Luke's Home Care & Hospice, helping support compassionate care throughout the Kansas City community.
After crossing the finish line, celebrate with live music, delicious food from local Kansas City favorites, and a lively post-race party. Every registered participant receives a commemorative race shirt and a finisher's medal.

Race Day Schedule
The Plaza 10K starts at 7:30 am, the two-mile family fun run will begin at 7:50 am. Food and beverages will be available in the post-race area beginning at 8 am.
Course Maps
The Plaza 10K features a flat, fast, and USATF-certified course, making it the perfect race for first-time 10K participants and experienced runners looking to set a new personal best. The race starts and finishes at the intersection of Nichols Road and Broadway Boulevard in the heart of the Country Club Plaza, offering participants a scenic tour through one of Kansas City's most iconic neighborhoods.
The race will be professionally timed using a disposable bib-mounted timing chip, providing accurate start, split, and finish times for every participant.
Two fully stocked aid stations will be located along the course—approximately at miles 2 and 4—offering both water and Gatorade to keep runners hydrated. The course will be clearly marked with mile markers, directional signage, and course volunteers to ensure a safe and enjoyable race experience from start to finish.

Awards
All 10K and 2 Mile finishers will receive a custom finisher's medal and age group awards will also be awarded in the 10K to the top overall male and female, the top masters male and female, and the top three male and female finishers (six total) in each of the following age categories:
